2nd shift Label Inspector

\n Location: Syracuse 
\n Pay Range: $17.50 – $18.00 per hour DOE!
\n
\n Position Overview:
\nThe Label Inspector rewinds, inspects, and packages labels to meet customer specifications while ensuring compliance with all internal standards.
\n
\n Key Responsibilities: \n

\n\t
• Inspect labels for defects (e.g., incorrect information, color inaccuracies, count) and ensure corrections.\n\t
• Verify job details for accuracy.\n\t
• Complete shipping documentation after successful inspections.\n\t
• Clean machines and parts used in label production.\n\t
• Maintain workstations and machines.\n\t
• Perform pre-run and end-run evaluations, completing required paperwork.\n\t
• Conduct label count verification.\n

\n Qualifications: \n\n

\n\t
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.\n\t
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.\n\t
• Familiarity with machines, tools, and computers, including repair and maintenance.\n\t
• Mathematical skills for measurement and logic applications.\n\t
• Effective customer service and interpersonal abilities.\n\t
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.\n\t
• Ability to train, instruct, and measure performance.\n\t
• Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination and acute depth perception.\n\t
• Ability to identify colors and handle a strobe light (no light sensitivity issues).\n\t
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks requiring manual dexterity.\n
