Job Description

VIP- Staffing is looking for a 2nd shift Production Supervisor. 2nd Shift 3:30pm to 12pm.

We do need an Experienced Person with the below qualifications.

Starting Base Pay $26.00 +$1.00 for 2nd shift.

Machine shop Foremen Job Description:

• At least 5 years of CNC Setup experience.
• Knowledge of Horizontal and Vertical CNC Mills.
• Knowledge of CNC lathes.
• Supervisor Experience.
• 5S.
• Some G code knowledge.
• GD&T Knowledge.
• Ability to use dimensional measuring tools.
• Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities for products keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
• Coordinate and manage production activities with all departments to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, equipment, systems, and procedures.
• Report production status to all appropriate parties, revising schedules and priorities in conformance to customer requirements and the company’s operating standards.
• Participate in the development and execution of training and development programs of all direct reports to build an increasingly effective and motivated work force.
• Responsible for adherence to plant and corporate policies and practices.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Must be able to read a micrometer/caliper and be familiar with go/no go gauges.
