About the Role

A dynamic mid-sized architecture firm based in Bethesda, MD, is seeking a skilled and forward-thinking BIM Manager to lead their digital design and modeling efforts. This role is critical to our work in Data Centers, Mission Critical Facilities, and Automotive Retail-sectors where precision, coordination, and speed are essential.

As BIM Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing BIM standards, managing project models, and supporting teams across all phases of design and construction. You'll play a key role in driving innovation and efficiency through technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain firm-wide BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
  • Provide hands-on support and training to project teams using Revit and other BIM tools.
  • Oversee model coordination, clash detection, and data integration across disciplines.
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to ensure BIM deliverables meet client and project requirements.
  • Manage BIM execution plans and ensure compliance with client and industry standards.
  • Evaluate and implement new BIM technologies and tools to improve productivity and quality.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for BIM-related issues and coordination with consultants.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in BIM management, with a strong background in Revit.
  • Experience with mission critical, data center, or automotive retail projects is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Navisworks, AutoCAD, Dynamo, and BIM 360/ACC.
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation, coordination, and project delivery.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with scripting (Dynamo, Python) and automation tools.
  • Experience with ISO 19650 or other BIM standards.
  • Knowledge of MEP coordination and integrated project delivery (IPD) workflows.
