Do you have an employment background that includes fueling, caring for, and cleaning transit coaches? CATA is seeking individuals with intermediate-level skills in these areas. A proven strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work with a diverse team are essential. This position requires flexibility, the aptitude to follow directions, and the capability to perform various physical, work-related tasks in an outdoor environment year-round. As a Bus Fueler and Processor at CATA, you will work with a team of dedicated employees who are committed to providing excellent service to our staff and customers. Some pertinent responsibilities of the position are listed below. - Operates fuel dispensing equipment to include CNG, diesel, and gasoline;
- Operates snow removal equipment to include snow-blowers, plows, and skid steer;
- Operates bus wash facility to clean bus exteriors;
- Cleans shop and industrial areas;
- Cleans transit coaches, bus stop shelters, buildings, and facilities as necessary;
- Performs fluid level checks on all Authority vehicles;
- Operates sweeper and other powered cleaning equipment;
- May move furniture and load or unload large freight;
Some essential physical functions of the position are listed below. - Work requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, working, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motions;
- This is heavy work requiring the exertion of 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly, to move objects;
- The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, extreme cold, noise, vibration, hazards, atmospheric conditions, and oils.

Salary for Year One: $21.50 per hour, Year Two: $24.18, After Year Two: $26.87 Applicants will be subject to MVR check. Selected candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing, criminal background check, and functional requirement evaluation.
