Your Role

As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will provide clinical expertise, education, and leadership to enhance patient care and foster professional growth among our nursing staff. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring high-quality healthcare delivery through:

• Coordinating educational programs and evaluating nursing competencies.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to improve clinical outcomes.
• Promoting evidence-based practices and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
• A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut.
• A BSN from an accredited university (Master’s Degree preferred, with matriculation required after one year).
• At least five years of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, or nursing management in an acute care setting.
• Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Working Conditions

In this role, you will:

• Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care.
• Assess the quality of care for specific patient populations.
• Collaborate with medical providers and nursing staff to develop and implement educational curricula.
• Participate in both formal and informal teaching and coaching of staff and students.
