We are offering a unique opportunity for a Controller in the government sector, located in Melbourne, Florida. The role involves working closely with financial data, handling the year-end close, and ensuring overall financial compliance. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the closure of the fiscal year
• Manage the preparation of the year-end close
• Utilize YARDI software for financial management and reporting
• Work on specific projects as required
• Ensure proper accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable
• Handle auditing processes and maintain budget procedures
• Leverage knowledge of 3M, Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, and Crystal Reports
• Monitor and maintain accurate customer credit records and process credit applications efficiently.• Proficiency in 3M software and its application in financial processes
• Extensive experience with Accounting Software Systems for managing financial data
• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services for efficient financial management
• Ability to work with CRM systems for managing customer and client data
• Proficiency in Crystal Reports for creating custom financial reports
• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions and their application in a government setting
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proven skills in Auditing for compliance with government financial regulations
• Familiarity with Budget Processes and their application in a government setting
• Proficiency in Yardi software for property management
• Experience in Yardi Property Management for managing government properties
• Ability to use Yardi Software for efficient financial and property management.
