Job Description

SciPro is currently partnered with a global biopharmaceutical company is seeking a Director, Epidemiology to lead real-world evidence and outcomes research initiatives across Immunology & Inflammation (I&I). This role will play a key part in shaping evidence strategies to support pipeline and marketed products.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute RWE and epidemiological studies using large databases (EMRs, Claims, Registries).
• Develop strategies to assess disease burden, treatment patterns, drug utilization, and risk factors.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, HEOR, and Market Access teams to drive data-driven insights.
• Support post-hoc analyses of clinical trials and assess PROs.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions, scientific publications, and conference presentations.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or Biotech industry with epidemiology, RWE generation, and health outcomes research (I&I/Dermatology, Oncology is a plus) expertise.
• Experience working with real-world data analytics vendors and designing observational studies.
• Strong track record of scientific publications and experience engaging with regulatory agencies (FDA, EMA).
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Additional Details:

• Hybrid role based in the Philadelphia area, with relocation support available.
