Job Title: Software Engineer

Pay rate: $53 per hour

Duration: 12 months (Potential for conversion to a full-time role)

W2 contract only (No C2C)

Location- Redmond, WA, 98052 (ONSITE)

• Preferred: Knowledge or experience with QNX or regulated software development.
• Strong skills in embedded programming using C and C++.
• Solid understanding of RTOS concepts, kernel, device drivers, and network stacks.
• Familiarity with the operation of serial buses such as SPI, I2C, and USB.

Job description

• Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and implements operating system components, software tools, and utilities.
• Determines system software design requirements.
• Ensures system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
• Generates systems software engineering policies, standards, and procedures.
• Serves as an individual contributor, using judgment in applying professional expertise.
• Expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Typically requires a university degree or significant practical knowledge gained through experience.
• Requires understanding and application of procedures and concepts within own discipline.
• Ability to make sound judgments based on practice and prior experience.
• Entry-level position; typically requires a degree or equivalent with no prior experience.
