Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in City of Industry is currently looking for an Engineer to join our team! This role will be reporting to our Engineering Manager at our Aerospace Manufactory in Rancho Cucamonga, CA

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Engineer to join our team in a growth-oriented aerospace company. This position combines roles in product development, process improvement, dimensional control, and technical analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing data, improving manufacturing processes, supporting new product introductions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations. Annual Rate: $70K - $100K

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
  • Process Improvement & Control: Develop and implement robust process control strategies to improve manufacturing outcomes, reduce variation, and enhance throughput using SPC, DOE, and other analytical methods. Apply statistical tools (SPC, Six-Sigma) to improve measurement systems, yields, and cost efficiencies. Implement new technologies to advance product capabilities and manufacturing processes.
  • Technical Support & Collaboration: Provide technical support to Operations, Sales, and Quality teams. Assist in customer interactions and help resolve technical issues related to product design and manufacturing. Support engineers in reviewing data, identifying corrective actions, and ensuring adherence to specifications and procedures.
  • Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis: Utilize problem-solving, to resolve issues affecting yield, rework, and overall product quality. Lead efforts to reduce scrap and improve product consistency.
  • Tooling & Die Design: Develop and improve wax injection tooling and dies needed for production. Work with vendors to design and produce quality tools at competitive prices.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Ensure that the manufacturing process and products meet regulatory standards and quality expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS  
  • Education: BS degree in Engineering or science (Relevant industry experience may substitute for degree). HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in Investment Casting, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field, is desired.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of GD&T and experience with Solidworks or other CAD software preferred.
  • Job Skills: Ability to collect, record and transcribe data, then present results in an industrial technical report format. Capable of performing statistical analysis and making data driven decisions. High degree of organizational skills. Able to work effectively and simultaneously on numerous projects. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Certifications/Licenses: None required, but certifications in relevant areas are a plus.
  • Other Skills: Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of statistical tools (SPC, DOE) and problem-solving methodologies (A3, PDCA). Excellent communication skills.
