Trane Technologies develops future leaders through its Graduate Training Program. We are currently recruiting recent graduates for a full-time Energy Engineer position. This opportunity includes a 15-week rotational development Energy Engineer program. You will learn from experts in the field, who are committed to preparing you for a rewarding career in Energy Engineering. GTP provides you with intensive technical, business, and leadership training, with an emphasis on maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards. You will begin work and your onboarding with your team at a predetermined office location. The Graduate Training Program will begin in January. In this program, you will:

Travel to multiple leading company locations for dynamic, in-person learning experiences that are pivotal to your career growth. This unique opportunity will immerse you in various facets of the industry, offering you an array of diverse experiences and opportunities.

\n

Complete virtual trainings and assignments in-between in-person sessions; virtual trainings will align with content progression and will aid you in becoming more familiar with home office personnel and operations.

\n

Hear about real-world projects in various industries such as higher education, healthcare, government, and more from Trane Technologies leaders.

\n

Complete meaningful assignments and participate in individual and team projects pertaining to:

• HVAC Fundamentals

• Energy Literacy and Competencies

\n
• Sales

\n
• Professional Development

Where is the work:

\n

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.  

\n

What you will do:  

\n

After successfully completing the Trane Technologies Energy Engineer Graduate Training Program, you will assume the responsibilities of an Energy Engineer, in a predetermined office location. As an Energy Engineer, you will:

\n

Convert data into actionable insight to deliver results for clients, becoming a trusted advisor. Your work helps our customers continuously optimize their facilities and fulfill their mission more efficiently.

\n

Based on your area of focus, your role will entail a combination of the following:

\n

\n
• Effectively analyze and assess the economic impacts of utility company rate structures and supply side options in a wide variety of customer environments.

\n
• Qualify client and opportunity, then layout preliminary and detailed audit scope analysis.

\n
• Perform building “walk-through” and identify energy conservation measures (architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.

\n
• Assist with energy simulation models utilizing fundamental HVAC principles, and understanding utility business operations, and consultative, solution selling.

\n
• Provide routine consultations to give insights into the client’s energy use, building operations, technical support/training needs, indoor environmental quality, and asset management.

\n

\n

What you will bring:

\n

\n
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Preferred: Energy, Mechanical or Electrical.
  \n
  \n
  • Must be graduated prior to start date.

  \n
  \n
\n
• Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

\n
• This posting is for multiple opportunities. Some positions may be remote while others may require a hybrid or onsite assignment at one of our facilities across North America.

\n
• Ability to travel to various in-person destinations throughout the 15-week training program.

\n
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, ability to provide proof of insurance, and have no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
  \n
  \n
  • DUI in the previous 3 years.

  \n
  • Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Compensation:

\n

Base Pay:

$75,000

\n

Lodging, a daily stipend, and relocation are provided during the training.

\n
