Vaco has partnered with a company looking for an Estimator to join their team! Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for evaluating project requirements, analyzing blueprints and technical documents, and preparing accurate cost estimates for construction, manufacturing, or service projects. This role is critical for ensuring our proposals are competitive, profitable, and aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• 
  Consult with clients, vendors, personnel, and construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• 
  Conduct site visits to gather information and assess conditions that may affect costs.
• 
  Work closely with the project management and engineering teams to ensure estimates are accurate and feasible.
• 
  Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals to management and clients.
• 
  Maintain historical cost data and adjust estimates to reflect current market trends.
• 
  Identify and quantify risks and opportunities within projects.
• 
  Track and manage changes to estimates as project scope evolves.
• 
  Assist in value engineering efforts to deliver cost-effective solutions.
