Job Description Job Description Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flooring and a strong background in installation techniques. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing flooring in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Duties Measure and assess areas to determine the amount of carpet needed for installation. Cut materials according to specifications and prepare surfaces for installation. Install using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring a seamless finish. Assist in demolition removing damaged flooring and installing new materials. Utilize power tools safely and effectively during the installation process. Read blueprints to understand project specifications and layout requirements. Requirements Proven experience in installation or related flooring work is preferred. Experience in construction painting, tile laying, or cabinet installation is advantageous. Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively. Ability to read blueprints accurately to execute installation plans. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Valid driver license Math skills including ability to calculate area, percentages, and a basic concept of algebra and geometry. Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with customers and coworkers both oral and written form. Ability to regularly walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch; reach with hands and arms, climb or balance. Often lift/ move up to 50 pounds. Frequently lift/ move up to 100 pounds.
