Job Title: Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Consultant

Location: Seattle, Central, or Eastern Washington (Hybrid with Regional Travel)

Position Overview:

We seek a dynamic, early—to mid-career Environmental Health and Safety Consultant to support clients across Washington State. Depending on the client's needs, the role will focus on the construction industry, with additional responsibilities in agriculture and the general industry. You’ll work closely with our senior consultants to deliver high-impact safety services while gaining real-world experience and advancing your EHS career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote EHS consulting services to clients across construction, agriculture, and general industry.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, WISHA).
• Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Support developing and implementing safety and health programs tailored to each client.
• Facilitate incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs and monthly safety meeting content.
• Prepare clear, concise reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with ISS senior consultants and support client relationships and business development efforts.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education or field experience in occupational safety (construction/general industry/agriculture).
• Passion for workplace safety and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to travel regularly within the region (Seattle, Central, or Eastern WA).
• Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications (e.g., CHST, SSHO, CSP, ASP).
• 3+ years of experience in EHS consulting or professional services.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Comfortable with extended travel assignments (1–3 weeks at a time, as needed).
