Salary:
Progress Partners is seeking to hire a Boston-based Investment Banking Associate to help support its M&A and Capital Markets transactions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, experience with financial statements, financial modeling, and strong communication skills. Prior experience in executing M&A and Capital Markets transactions in Technology verticals is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and assist in the preparation of proposals, client presentations, and transaction materials
Conduct extensive financial and valuation analyses
Develop marketing materials, complex financial analyses and models, and ensure data integrity and accuracy of all deliverables
Monitor campaigns, coordinate meetings, and prepare and actively participate in weekly updates
Manage due diligence processes, including data room management and coordination between all stakeholders (internal and external)
Support transaction negotiations
Identifies when content and expertise is required from clients and senior members of the team
Participate in the recruitment, development, training, and mentoring of Analysts and junior resources
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant experience in investment banking required
Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred. Focus in business, finance, accounting or similar preferred
Strong knowledge of M&A and capital raising practices is essential
Solid finance/accounting knowledge; ability to analyze and value businesses
Experience in supervising and reviewing Analysts work
Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Excellent analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills
Team player mentality combined with the ability to work independently
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables
Strict attention to detail and advanced Microsoft Office suite skills; Expert in Excel and PowerPoint
