Job Title: Area Manager – Palm Beach County (2nd Shift)

Salary: $45K base + $10k variable commission ($55K OTE)

Job Type: Full-Time (2nd Shift)

Overview

We are seeking an Area Manager to oversee janitorial operations in Palm Beach County. This position involves managing a team of Supervisors and Cleaning Specialists, ensuring high-quality service delivery, meeting budget goals, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team to meet client specifications and budget targets.
• Conduct weekly inspections and monitor team performance.
• Prepare and communicate schedules to the team.
• Manage resources, including labor and subcontractors, to support operations.
• Ensure accurate payroll, training on time clock systems, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain operational equipment and implement procedures across all sites.
• Address customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Conduct client walk-throughs and ensure compliance with standards.
• Analyze operational performance and take corrective action when needed.
• Promote a positive culture, inspiring the team to exceed expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant janitorial management experience .
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and floor care.
• Leadership skills with a focus on coaching and development.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and time clock systems.
• Valid driver’s license required.
