Job Overview:
We are seeking a Liquor Store Manager to join our team! Liquor Store Manager to oversee our retail operations at our Texas stores in Plano and Rowlett. The Store Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the store, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and financial performance. The stores are under 4,000 sqft and operate different from big box liquor stores. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in liquor retail management and demonstrate proficiency in all operational disciplines including but not limited to, receiving, cashiering, stocking, sales, and paperwork expectations. Responsibilities:
· Ensure the store is properly stocked and merchandised to maximize sales opportunities
· Supervise cashiers and review till reconciliation for accuracy, including cash and all media
· Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to minimize shrinkage
· Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies
· Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
· Maintain a clean and organized store environment that meets company standards
· Oversee cash register operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and reconciliation
Requirements:
· Proven experience as Liquor store Manager in a small store
· Strong knowledge of budgeting, pricing, and retail math principles
· Proficient in using cash registers and POS systems
Experience with payroll management and scheduling
