Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diesel equipment including tractors, trailers, and reefers.
• Perform preventative maintenance to meet company standards.
• Document all repair orders and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
• Respond to road service calls and perform road rescues as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage inventory and keep proper records.
• Support other maintenance personnel as needed.
• Be ready to take on additional responsibilities and certifications.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience:
  • 5 years of hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic, or
  • 3 years of experience with Diesel Mechanic Certification or TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certification.
• Valid Class-A CDL license and DOT certification preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must provide your own personal hand tools.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Physical Requirements

This role involves:

• Frequent standing, walking, and occasional sitting.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally more with assistance.
• Climbing, bending, and reaching as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

Your compensation will depend on your experience and skills, with a base rate expected between $26.00 - $30.00 . Benefits may include:
