Job Description :

Seeking an experienced Tooling Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of assembly tooling for automotive General Assembly systems. This role focuses on improving manufacturing efficiency, ensuring quality, and managing tooling from concept through installation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and validate assembly tools, jigs, and fixtures using CAD (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Lead tooling installation and commissioning on assembly lines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tooling with production needs.
• Analyze and optimize existing tooling for cost and performance.
• Document tooling processes and report project progress.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in automotive tooling design and installation.
• Strong CAD proficiency and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Engineering degree preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and industry standards is a plus.
