Job Description

The Process Engineer position focuses on the below key responsibilities which include:

1. Process Development : Developing processing specifications for new product launches, collaborating with Quality and Laboratory teams to ensure product meets internal and customer requirements, and identifying quality/productivity issues.
2. Process Support : Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, real-time problem solving, and consulting with employees within the facility floor and environment
3. Process Troubleshooting : Assisting with troubleshooting equipment, molds, and raw materials to resolve process issues, ensuring consistent documentation and making necessary updates.

Responsibilities:

• Develop processes to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor technicians, ensure clear documentation, and provide technical solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors, resolve material and equipment issues, and engage with customers for project updates.
• Ensure safety and environmental standards are met, and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
• Develop and document new and existing processes to improve product quality, productivity, and equipment efficiency.
• Maintain process documentation and provide technical support to manufacturing processes.
• Prepare sketches, work orders, and purchase order requests.
• Ability to oversee and manage the production floor in identifying key production issues

Requirements:

• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Technical or Academic knowledge in injection molding processes, tooling, and equipment.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, with at least 1 year in elastomeric or polymer injection molding.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, ISO9001, and AS9100.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills; ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams.
