Your Role and Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will help us achieve our business objectives by ensuring appropriate reimbursement for patient care services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in the Patient Assessment Process by completing items on the MDS and the accompanying Care Area Assessments (CAAs).
• Assisting in the development of individualized patient care plans, identifying patient needs and projected outcomes as required by Federal and State regulations.
• Contributing to the nursing center interdisciplinary Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process while adhering to RAI guidelines for completion, computer encoding, and electronic transmission of the MDS.
• Identifying changes in patient conditions in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and coordinating the scheduling and completion of necessary assessments.
• Providing training on Activities of Daily Living for new hires and ongoing education for existing staff.
• Attending educational programs to stay updated on current RAI/Prospective Payment System regulations.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

• Registered Nurse currently licensed by the state and in good standing.
• Previous experience in a hospital, long-term facility, or other healthcare-related setting.
• Prior experience completing MDSs and Care Plans.
• Knowledgeable in general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing practices, as well as laws and regulations governing long-term care.

Salary Range

Posted Salary Range: USD $42.00 - USD $45.00 /Hr.
