Job Summary:
Gassafy Wholesale is seeking a skilled and reliable Part-Time Medium Duty Diesel Mechanic with a strong focus on preventive maintenance and light repairs. The ideal candidate will have experience working on medium-duty diesel trucks, ensuring they are operating safely and efficiently. This position is perfect for someone looking for flexible hours while maintaining and servicing a fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventive maintenance on medium-duty diesel trucks, including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and fluid checks.
Conduct inspections to identify potential mechanical issues and recommend necessary repairs.
Perform minor repairs such as brake adjustments, belt and hose replacements, and battery maintenance.
Keep accurate records of maintenance services, inspections, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Diagnosing minor mechanical issues and coordinating major repairs with truck service centers.
Qualifications:
Skills : Strong knowledge of diesel engine maintenance, vehicle inspections, and minor repairs.
Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems a plus.
Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Basic computer skills for logging maintenance records.
Schedule & Compensation:
Part-time: Flexible schedule, typically 20-30 hours per week. (to be determined).

All tools and equipment are provided.
