Job Description Weekend PM Shift: Fri-Sun 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM This position is eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus payable after 90 days of employment! Location/Division Specific Information: Millersburg, PA Single-Use manufacturing locations
How Will You Make an Impact?: Working with a team in a fast-paced environment assembling product.
A Day in the Life: - Manually assemble tubing and connectors to be used in the medical industry
- Read manufacturing drawings and follow standard procedures
- Manufacture bags applying standard procedures (SOP) in accordance with product blueprint
- Record and complete accurate documentation according to GMP requirements
- Drive safety culture and quality in all activities
- Responsible for performing visual inspection on in-process and finished products and raise to leadership when appropriate
- Working with a team in a fast-paced environment assembling product
- Participate in the Lean PPI (Practical Process Improvement) culture through Tier boards, GEMBA, JDI, RCCM, and/ or Kaizen events
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: - Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience
- Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: - Follow all safety protocols
- Drive quality in all activities
- Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping
- Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling
- Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted
Physical Requirements / Work Environment - Ability to work in a fast paced controlled cleanroom environment 8 hours a day with additional overtime as the need arises for production schedule adherence
- The Clean-room is controlled environment for temperature and humidity having low ambient noise.
- Specific gowning is required including: gloves, hair & beard net and face cover, safety glasses with no makeup / jewelry, and the like.
- Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene
