Paralegal – Real Estate & Legal Operations

Location: Nashville, TN

A growing, well-respected company headquartered in Nashville is seeking a Paralegal to join its Legal team at the Store Support Center. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who enjoys real estate, legal research, and supporting dynamic operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Position Summary:

The Paralegal will support the VP of Legal & General Counsel by conducting legal research, preparing documents, and managing real estate-related and administrative responsibilities. This highly visible role will contribute to key legal operations and real estate initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Real Estate Support

  • Draft and manage lease agreements and related documents
  • Maintain records of site-specific documents, surveys, and plans
  • Coordinate real estate closings and due diligence
  • Track property activity including sales, subleases, and inquiries
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Accounting, Facilities, and Operations

Administrative Support

  • Manage department calendar and travel logistics
  • Prepare legal correspondence and handle expense processing
  • Act as liaison for legal and rent-related inquiries
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all documentation

Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Accounting, or related field
  • Paralegal Certification required
  • Minimum of 4 years corporate paralegal experience
  • Strong background in commercial real estate or leasing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills

Preferred:

  • Experience in multi-unit retail or convenience store operations
  • Familiarity with corporate law and the real estate lifecycle
