Job Title: Associate MachinistLocation: Fort Collins, COJob Type: Contract to HireShift: 2:30-10:30pm with mandatory overtime (11-hour shifts and some Saturdays)Pay Rate: $20.90-22/hour (depending on experience)Position OverviewWe are currently seeking an entry-level Associate Machinist to join a dynamic and growing team in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Fort Collins, Colorado. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in machining and production, with opportunities for advancement and skill development.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and maintain assigned machine types.Follow detailed work instructions and method documents to produce and inspect parts.Document non-conforming materials and assist in root cause and corrective actions.Perform deburring and routed operations as required.Operate and maintain inspection and measuring equipment.Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and work area.Adhere to all safety protocols and departmental regulations.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.6+ months of production or assembly experience.Proficient with hand and power tools.Basic understanding of machining processes and equipment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.Preferred SkillsExperience in mechanical or electrical assembly.Familiarity with automated testing.Experience in aircraft part assembly or similar production environments.Work EnvironmentLarge, modern manufacturing facility with brand-new, state-of-the-art equipment.Fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Steel-toed boots required; safety glasses provided.ITAR-regulated facility (U.S. persons only).Why You'll Love This RoleLearn new trades and technical skills.Be part of building a team from the ground up.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.Work with cutting-edge equipment in a clean and safe environment.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
