Project Manager – Land Development / Site Civil

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead land development and site civil projects in Fort Myers. This is an opportunity to join a top 20 ENR-ranked consulting firm with a strong presence in the civil engineering industry. The role involves managing projects from concept to completion, working with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality deliverables for private and public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee land development and site civil projects, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
Lead client relationships, attend meetings, and coordinate with local municipalities and regulatory agencies.
Direct and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
Prepare and review engineering plans, reports, and specifications.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Drive business development by identifying new opportunities and preparing proposals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
PE license in Florida (or ability to obtain within six months).
Six or more years of experience in land development and site civil engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of stormwater management, grading, utilities, and permitting processes.
Experience managing projects and leading teams.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other industry software.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
