Staff Accountant

Overview of the Staff Accountant role:
• Prepare and post journal entries for general ledger accounts
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain and update financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles (GAAP)
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Assist with audits by providing supporting documentation and answering auditor inquiries
• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or variances

Preferred qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of accounting experience (internships and entry-level considered)
