Job Description As a Vascular Access Nurse Consultant, you will work collaboratively with our customer's clinical team to resolve venous access issues to facilitate the treatment objectives of the treating physician. You may work inside or outside the hospital setting depending on each individual referral, providing you with a unique career opportunity to observe different treatment protocols and patient challenges. As a VTP Vascular Access Nurse Consultant you will: Place PICCs, midlines and peripheral IVs with ultrasound and use ECG confirmation. Assist with management of PICCs and Vascular Access devices. Provide a wide range of vascular access support services including but not limited to port access, removal of lines, declotting, etc. Educate facility nursing staff regarding PICCs, midlines and many other CVAD's Key Responsibilities In this role, you will potentially visit patients in different customer facilities. You must be willing to travel to customer facilities and able to fulfill scheduling requirements as indicated based on business needs. Fulltime scheduling requirements include three to four days per week, including weekends, and participation in the holiday rotation. Nurse Consultant Qualifications $10,000 Sign on Bonus based on vascular access experience and full time status Registered Nurse with current license Minimum of 3 years' experience in acute care preferred Experience with a variety of VAD placements with ultrasound Have and maintain current BLS certification Possess a current and valid driver's license and auto insurance Ability to work independently Fulfill scheduling requirements as indicated by job classification Must possess a smart phone Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to patient sites Must LOVE Vascular Access Compensation is based on candidate experience and relevant certifications.
