POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
The Housekeeper position is essential in ensuring our guests have the best possible experience by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms. This role involves adhering to company standards and procedures while delivering outstanding service.
MAJOR / KEY JOB DUTIES
Show a 100% commitment to providing exceptional experiences for our guests and associates.
Thoroughly clean assigned guest rooms following company standards.
Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to meet company standards during use.
Restock carts and cart rooms as necessary or directed by management.
Report maintenance issues directly to the front desk or manager on duty.
Notify the front desk and manager on duty of any guest property left in check-out rooms.
Assist with guest requests by providing reasonable accommodations whenever possible.
Comply with all safety and security policies and procedures.
Complete all required and annual training through Extended Stay University.
OTHER DUTIES
Assist with cleaning common areas and facilities as assigned by the manager, including but not limited to the associate breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, and stairwells.
Contribute to maintaining overall hotel cleanliness.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.

Colorado: $16.00 - $19.00
Illinois: $16.00 - $19.00
Minnesota: $16.00 - $19.00
New Jersey: $15.00 - $22.32
Washington: $16.66 - $21.10
Whitestone, NY: $18.27 - $19.62

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Regularly required to remain stationary and be mobile throughout the hotel, handle and detect objects and scents, and respond to sounds.
Access low areas, navigate heights, and maintain stability while doing so; ability to bend, kneel, or crouch.
Occasionally push/pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Inspect items in guest rooms to ensure safety and efficiency in performance.
Occasional outdoor work based on hotel location.
Occasionally exposed to wet, humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, or hazardous chemicals.
Typically moderate to loud noise levels in the work environment.
Potential travel to assist other locations within a reasonable distance.
