We are seeking an Parts Manager for immediate hire in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. We are Canadian owned and an Award Winning Employer with over three decades of continued success. This is a retail operation in need of an expert to oversee the Parts Department customer service/sales, parts sourcing, and inventory management. Compensation:

  • $60,000 – $80,000/year to start.
  • Health insurance, dental care, disability insurance and life insurance.
  • Company pension program.

Daily Duties:

  • Utilized computer systems for tracking orders, pricing and availability information.
  • Maintained accurate records of all parts received, shipped, returned or exchanged.
  • Evaluated parts pricing based on incoming invoice transactions for correct charges.
  • Answered phone calls promptly, providing price quotes and other information.
  • Procured parts by issuing purchase orders to suppliers via internet and phone.
  • Monitored and adjusted supply levels to minimize obsolescence of parts in inventory.
  • Developed and implemented strategies to reduce inventory costs and improve customer service levels.
  • Conducted cost analysis of parts from multiple vendors to purchase parts at best prices.

Qualifications:

  • Prior parts counter experience.
  • Inventory Management, shipping/receiving, and vendor management experience.
  • Purchasing experience.
