Job Title: Sabrix Tax Engine - Functional consultant Job Location: Frisco, TX | Onsite Duration: 12 Months Interview Type: Video Position Type: Contract Responsibility / Expectations from the role POSITION OVERVIEW : As a Sabrix Tax Engine - Functional consultant, you will be responsible for the effective use of the Oracle E Business Suite R12 system for Finance and Accounting. You will partner with the business units to ensure the efficient use of technology and provide ongoing enhancements as the business changes or new functionality is introduced in the applications. Your success will depend on maintaining strong relationships with internal business partners to ensure the best use of technology to facilitate their business processes. This position requires an analytical mindset, accuracy and creative problem-solving skills. You may assist in coordinating and assembling cross functional teams, creating project plans and managing the complete project lifecycle.

POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS :

• Analyst will partner with business units to ensure efficient use of application and provide ongoing enhancements
• Coordinate process improvements with business; gather and document functional requirements
• May work with the internal managed services team on upgrades and enhancements
• Complete business process mapping and identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain and improve system interfaces between key applications
• Work with powerusers and superusers to prioritize enhancements and process improvements
• Support a change management process to manage patch applications and changes to the configurations
• Develop test plans and manage user testing for system changes
• Support new ERP or business unit initiatives and projects which may include new functionality, process improvements or migrating new business units onto the systems
• Support reporting requirements and maintain functionality Required Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, computer science or business with 5 years' experience as a systems or business analyst to demonstrate Business analysis and requirement gathering skills to be able to understand user needs and articulate them as system requirements for engineering teams.
• Knowledge of complete Taxation lifecycle. Expertise in Indirect Tax domain (Customer and Supplier) with good knowledge of both processes and systems for various geographies.
• 5 years' hands-on experience in Sabrix/Onesource or Vertex configuration is a must
• Must be a team player and be able to interact well with all users, peers and executive management
• Must have worked in a techno functional role within Oracle EBS Finance R12 for 3+ yrs, including Oracle GL, AR, AP, FA, EBTax
• Good understanding of solution architecture
• Excellent influencing skills
• Ability to learn quickly in a multifaceted environment
• Strong spoken and written communication and receptive listening skills, with ability to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences across the globe.

Travel: No Travel Degree: Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Finance, IT or experience in Order to Cash operations. Nice to Have; (But not a must) • Onesource Determination certification is nice to have United Software Group
