Trauma/Critical Care Surgeon

(Tucson, AZ)

Acute Care Surgical Specialists is seeking a Trauma/Critical Care Surgeon to join our faculty/private practice in beautiful Tucson, Arizona. The ideal candidate for this full-time position will join our busy trauma/critical care team in providing services to St. Joseph's Hospital Carondelet Health Network as an Acute Care Surgeon/ Trauma Surgeon/Surgical Intensivist. We are Physician-led. We focus on developing Acute Care programs utilizing the most advance techniques, including Robotic Acute Surgery. We establish partnerships with hospital(s), and employ our exceptional clinicians to develop advanced programs.

Must have a passion for teamwork, and become an integral part of a collaborative team.

Requirements:

MD or DO: Board certified or board eligible candidates required

General Surgery Residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program

Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care or Trauma completion required from an accredited program featuring certification in Critical Care

Fellowship in Acute Care Surgery

The trauma /critical care service will cover both day and night shifts, 365 for this high volume and high acuity hospitals. Typical expectation is for 16 shifts per month.

Compensation is shift-based, therefore there is opportunities to take additional call which would results in greater compensation.
